How to Clean Mascara from Carpet

Removing mascara stains from carpet can be a tricky task, especially when you are dealing with different types of carpet materials. Here are some easy-to-follow steps to help you clean up mascara stains on different types of carpets.

White Vinegar

Dishwashing Liquid

Cleaning Cloths

Kitchen Towel (paper for blotting spills)

Cleaning Wool Carpet and Mascara

1. Gently blot the stain with a clean, white cloth to remove as much of the mascara as possible.

2. Mix a solution of warm water and mild dish soap.

3. Dip a clean cloth into the solution and dab the stain, working from the outside in.

4. Rinse the area with clean water and blot with a dry cloth to remove excess moisture.
